Diffusione

Vive in Perù e forse in Ecuador. Il loro habitat naturale comprende montagne tropicali o subtropicali secche, fiumi, paludi intermittenti di acqua dolce, giardini rurali e aree precedentemente boschive ora molto degradate. È minacciato dalla perdita del suo habitat naturale.
